Located next to the Public Beach off Marquette Drive on the Galien River. Facilities are approximately 3,500 ft from Lake Michigan.

Cash will no longer be accepted at the boat ramp. All launch fees and season passes will be paid on a kiosk.
If you are purchasing a season pass, pay at the kiosk by entering your trailer plate, then take your receipt to one of the attendants and they will issue you your season pass. If you are purchasing a daily launch pass, you’ll also pay at the kiosk, by entering your trailer plate. The City asks that you place your receipt on your dash, so parking enforcement can verify that you have paid for the day.
Kayakers will follow a similar procedure: Enter their vehicle plate unless they have a trailer. The city tells kayakers that if they have a trailer, to enter their trailer plate and place their receipt on the dash. Kayakers must park in the designated kayak area.
There will still be attendants on duty to assist and answer questions during the transition to this new system.

- Boats 27′ & under: $10.00
- Boats 27′ and over: $30.00

Boats Without Michigan Registrations:
- Boats 27′ & under: $20.00
- Boats 27′ and over: $40.00
Season Passes For Michigan Residents
With Boats Having Michigan Registrations:
- Boats 27′ & under: $75.00
- Boats 27′ and over: $100.00
Season Passes For Non-Michigan Residents/
Boats Without Michigan Registrations:
- Boats 27′ & under: $100.00
- Boats 27′ and over: $125.00
Parking Rules
The parking lot is for vehicles with boat trailers only – all violators will be ticketed and towed. Parking on the ramp apron is prohibited and any vehicle left overnight without written permission will be ticketed and towed.
Prohibited activity
- Maintenance, draining oil or fueling watercraft while at the skid piers or in the adjacent waterway.
- Emptying bilges while pulling out.
- Tying down watercraft on the ramps.
No Power Loading!
Boaters are reminded to winch their craft onto boat trailers instead of powering their boat onto the trailer. 
Boat ramps throughout the state are being badly damaged by boaters who power their boats onto the boat trailer. The strong current created by the boat’s propeller causes severe erosion and wash out at the end of the ramp. This condition, in turn, can also cause damage to boat trailers.
The Department of Natural Resources is attempting to repair as many of the damaged ramps as possible, but the best solution to the problem lies with the boater who refrains from this practice.
